Sounds like you have a good start. However, if your stumped, take a que from your city and steal from the best. Why are only the Drow considered the masters of intreage and crualty. Read the Mezorb. boxed set for ideas on a less than pleasent city. Also the product Den of Thieves may give some insite to the workings of a good thieves guild. Internal rivals and guild politics should be very violent (in a subtle way) and VERY unhealthy for any PC's who get in the way. The Kindred was a good example of an underground society that had lots of blood-fueds but managed to keep most of it hidden form the general public. Rival factions, double agents, moles and other espianoge tools, my entangle the players in a number of different plots. Also if you have the Waterdeep accessory or Volo's guide, you may want to copy it in a mirror image universe way. An evil Blackstaff who is pulling some strings, a mysterious masked anti-paladin, and perhaps a neutral beholder who is willing to work with the party. Just look in the back for personalities and think (Star Trek: Mirror, Mirror). Also, think what life is like for the average citizen. What really keeps the city going. Why are people not leaving. Perhaps there is a Ninja like organization that eliminates the really bad villans, keeping the level of evil to a limit. Lots of possibilities. Any help? Terry
