White Dwarf

I was watching the Fox TV movie "White Dwarf" a few days ago and was
wondering if any one had tried to make a Spelljammer world from the
planet Rusta?

You could have a world divided by a great wall into the light and dark
sides (not good and evil, although many of the inhabitants of the light
sided may view it as such), and ancient gnomish inventors could have
placed the regulators, climate controlling orbs, in the sky.  There
would be a prison that kept inmates alive for millennia by orally
implanting a type of parasite that the warden, an unknown alien species,
grew within his body.  And you would have the crimson tinted Sea of
Tears, the resting place for the souls of all who die on Rusta.

Political, you could use the civil war between the two planets, and the
cultist from the dark side who revel in death and bloodshed.

There would be only one space port, located on the light side, and it
would be a crude facility.
