For some reason, Brian Gute (bgute@????.????.???.edu) got an
error when he sent this to the list, so he forwarded it to me,
and so _I_ am forwarding it to the list.

Wow, this is a great idea Sean. To add my two cents worth, imagine it as a
huge, traveling haunted house. It could be similar to THE spelljammer in
that
it just "randomly" travels the spheres, but perhaps this one stops in the
spacelanes for several weeks waiting to pick up new passengers. It uses the
fear of it's passengers to "fuel" the engines.

It may be that the dark secret of its origins is related to the Feyr of the
Forgotten Realms (creatures that feed on fear), perhaps it is a construct for
them or a related race, or maybe, it's just one huge Feyr traveling through
space.

By the way, its good to know that someone else out there watches Twin Peaks,
but you made me think more of "The Fun House" from ReBoot.

[Never seen it (I normally sleep on Sat mornings), but I've heard
good things about the show. But that's really off-topic, so.... ;)]
