I do. Remember that two active Helms won't prevent two ships from mixing air
envelopes, nor will a powered Helm prevent a ship from refreshing it's
envelope from dipping into a planets air.

Also, in the book the weather conditions it was mitigating were winds, not
tempature. It seems more like a semi-permeable bubble, as far as air is
concerned, anyhow.

Also, a passage in a novel is hardly a firm rule. The novels bon't always
follow the published game mechanics. Ask anyone on the PS list. *That* novel
had little to do with the setting, or the way it worked.:-)
