As the person who started this I just wanted to say that I don't have
any real problems with the numbers in the book, and will probably end up
keeping them. My little excercise was mostly one of curiosity (like I
said, I was bored), not failure to suspend disbelief. Realism has never
been the hallmark of Spelljammer. or xD&D in general, and I never had a
problem with it.
