think that the idea of figuring out how long the air envelope should
really last, is best left to those people playing science fiction rpg's,
and that we should just go with the book on this one.

It's kind of amusing that we're willing to buy the idea of a wooden ship
sailing through the void powered by nothing but a mage's will and a
magic helm, but we can't believe that the air envelope could stay fresh
for that long. Perhaps we could apply our selective disbelief someplace
else. :)
