In our last episode, Morgan McCarrier said: >I hope this gets through,It's my first post. Welcome! > First of all, does weight factor in when calculating tonnage? Not that I'm aware of. In fact, I think in the rules it states that a "ton" is a measure of volume. Personally I think it causes problems, as your question shows. >One of the PC's >in my group plans to use 1 ton ships towing 99 ton asteroids as bombers, and >while the MC of this arrangement would be about Z,could a helm move the (about) >6500 metric tons of weight? (I'm guessing as to the weight of 1cu.ft. of stone) According to the rules, it would. > Second,is there a lower limit to what a orbus can power? Whatever you want it to be... (: > Finally, does anyone have any suggestions as how to deal with the PC's ship,a >90 ton HEAVILY armed dreadnaught? They once took on 3 man-o-wars and an Armada >PLUS the armadas (firebomb) flitters and won. Get better Armadas. Or... Ever hear of Secondary Witchlight Marauder? (: :) Better yet, just have an "accidental fire". Destroy their current weapons and damage the ship just enough for all of their money to go to repairs. That way they won't be able to get any *new* weapons. Hope that helps... --Static -- Static | --==<< http://k2.CWRU.edu/~static (Stories and Games) >>==-- on the | silicon | "Only the good die young, web. | the bad prefer it that way..."
