Yes a wolf with a cape is kida of the beaten path but think about how others are going to see them. You are on the main deck of your hammership when out of the sky a flying wolf flies at you . You first response is not going to be to laugh and say I would not be caught dead flying that thing. Yes overall it may look bad and yess some ships do look neat like the nautaloid but if you are that close to the ship to see that kind of detail and figure out if you like it or not is either in a friendly port or under attack and under attack is the last place were you are going to be discussing fashion sence.
