That's the Beuaty of using the Ki Helm. The numbers are already worked out.
All you have to do is decide if you want a certain number of psi points to
equal 1 Ki point, or go 1-for-1. Which give  bit of an advantage to psis, but
then They are specialists in converting their own internals energies into an
internal or external effect, and isn't that all a Ki ability is?
