Their entry is in the SJ MC 2. If you've seen the movie The Guyver, or it's
sequel, or the original Japanese cartoon (in many video stores in the US)
you've a pretty good idea.

They, like the Spirit Warriors, and Insectare were biologic weapons created
by the elves during the first Unhuman war. The Insectare were a failure
(alignment problems) the Spirit Warriors a success (giant, undead, insect
exoskeletons worn by elves), and the bionoids some where between
(symbiot-forced alignment of NG, but minds of their own, and self
replicating, the old fashioned way, as well as with blank symbiots).
