Ok, lets see if I can explain this right. In the future and the advent of more technology many people and races have lost faith in some of the gods, as a result some of the lesser gods have passed into the astral plane(some foundation for that in Planescape) and basicly died. This started a bit of a panic in some of the lesser and middle gods and they took action. Only for the greater good of all, of course. A group, sect, faction whatever were created by a loose consortium of gods to wipe out all mutations, technology and whoever is using the tech. This group will be made up of priest, druids, etc all classes that would seem applicable and they are in a subversive war to wipe out anything not from the old ways. As time passes and they gain strength, I can see this sect moving more out into the open and opposing tech more directly. This sect would like nothing more then to wipe out many of the dwarven citadels, where alot of the tech seems to be coming from. Fortunatly, the dwarves have the attitude and power (for now) to keep this sect's attention elsewhere. This group has a council, one rep from each of the gods, and they control the this group. One member of the council is considered in charge. Some council members spend most of their time attempting to take over the council. In the name of their diety of course. Unfortunately,(maybe fortunatly) they can't decide what way to do this, some believe they should wipe out the problems by educating the people, others believe they should destroy the tech and mutations and leave the people alone as they are probably just not following the *right* path. Others truly believe the only way to win is to kill everyone that uses anything other then the old ways. Can't really think of a name for this sect, any ideas? As always comments and constructive crit will always be taken Thanks "I can only conclude that I'm paying off karma at a vastly accelerated rate." -- Ivanova, "B5" Douglas J Russell
