Randi Barnes and the Korantyr

Hi 'Jammers!  This message is aimed at the "old guard:" Those of us who were
surfing the net before this listserv existed, and well before the WWW was
anything more than a novelty.  I'm referring to the dark, chaotic ages of
the early 1990's.  In terms of the Internet, that's ancient history.

I'm calling a man-hunt.  Well, woman-hunt actually.

I found some old printouts the other day, including some stuff I pulled from
the "ADND-L" listserv.  In June of 1992, a woman named Randi Barnes posted a
Psionicist kit called a "Korantyr" which was modeled losely on the Jedi
Knights. The kit, while universal in scope, has a very strong Spelljammer
overtone.  I only have this character kit in printout, so I can't post it
right away.  If someone out there happens to have a soft copy of this, then
please post it!  it will save me the trouble of typing it back in.  :)

Anyway, I would like to put this character kit on the Spelljammer web site,
but I also want to give credit to Ms. Barnes, who is at least partially
responsible for it's creation (her partner in this project wasn't a net user
at the time, and his name remains unknown).  Does anyone out there know if
she's still on the ADND-L list, or one of the other lists?  I know she's not
on this one; I checked.

If any of you know the wherabouts of Ms. Barnes, please send me her email
address, or send her my address and tell her that I'm looking for her.  The
email address on the printout is a student account at the University of
Indiana.  I think it's safe to assume that she's moved on by now.  There are
six "Randy Barnes" in America Online, but I'm having trouble getting their
info.  AOL appears to be on the fritz today.

Enough of that.  Let the search begin.
