} Wouldn't the basic rules be cheaper? I know I paid less for it than the WCC.

I think the basic rules are cheaper and after all the WCC only details
battles and magic in space and stuff like that, he needs the rules to know
why you can throw an apple off the side of a ship and have it fall down and
"fall up", then down and then up... and silly mechanic stuff like that.
As TSR blew SpellJammer off their list, all the stuff they have, but more
likely the stuff shops had in stock is on sale, so according to the Wargames
West catalog the WCC is under $8, the compendium 7 is under 6, the
spacefarers handbook is around 7, and I can't find the basic rules, but idea
is that everything is waaay cheap, so don't drink that beer, save the money
and get the books before there gone for good. (bad actually).
I don't know, I live in Costa Rica so getting adnd stuff of any kind here
is impossible, just recently they brought in novels, in spanish... so I make
all my shopping in hobby stores and places like Waldernbooks(sp?) when I
visis the US, can't be that tough for anyone else to get stuff...

Well I'm getting longish on this letter, better cut it and get back to some
programming...
