Planescape states that there is but one Prime plane, and it is the SpellJammer model - infinite crystal sphere floating in the Rainbow Sea of the Flow. Since there are infinite crystal spheres, there are many chances for a pure technological "prime" to exist, as well as "primes" where spells exist to cross crystal shell barriers. Thus, the simpliest cross-over is this: dimension = crystal sphere. With this simple change of definition, everything fits. The technological ship can still "break through" from another "dimension" - all this means is that the ship used its weapons or whatever to blow a hole in the crystal shell. Of course, we all know that things like the Zodar would come after those who actually manage to damage the crystal shell. Thus, the ship was damaged and it crashed on Mystara. The other "dimensional" beings work in the same manner. That simple equation eliminates the need for all of the mental gymnastics associated with trying to figure out which dimensional outer plane some god is on. Ken Lipka klipka@????.com
