    I never could figure out why Mr. Heard invented the Skyshield.  Just
to be different? (Not that there is anything wrong with that).  When I
stuck Mystara in a crystal sphere and decided to make it part of the
normal(?) Spelljammer universe, I removed the Skyshield.

    When they wrote the rules for space in D&D, they didn't have
Spelljammer in mind.  I just ignore the D&D ruling and use SJ rules.

    One of these days I'm going to get around to converting the Alpahtian
and Heldan ships to SJ.
