My references to it are in the War Captain's Companion.

It's the default helm for a Quad of Thay, and was NOT built by the Arcane.

Basically in is an etherial space drive. Up to four spellcasters may man it
with an SR equal to total levels divided by 4. When 'jamming speeds are
used it turns partly etherial and requires a 200+ ton body to pull it back
to tactical speeds and out of the etherial. It cannot function in the Flow
at all obviously, so keep your more conventional helm as well.

There is another drawback to it: $ claws or rams are used to focus the
helm's energies(and some light is generated as a side effect a -4 to hit
the ship due to intensity). Every broken ram is a -25% to speed (I assume
both tactical and 'jamming). While you get 4 ram attacks (with a 63 ton
ship that can add up), the rams are somewhat delicate(1 to 4 break on a
20). Remember, with more than one spellcaster powering the helm, THAC0 is
based on 1/2 the NAVIGATOR's level.
