Dragons in Wildspace?

When Spelljammers released, I ran out that day and bought it, read it, and
loved it.  I then bought everything ever released for Spelljammers (except
Rock of Braal - sorry).  Unfortunately, I could never find anyone who
could game it with me, so it sat on the shelf and only earned my
admiration from afar.
However, I have been the DM for a Council of Wyrms setting for the past
year, and now the dragons have found a need to go Spelljamming.  So
now I need to brush up on some things I am confused on.  I have come
up with some very unique situation trying to make these two game
systems compatible, and want to pose some questions:

1) Dragons carry their own air envelope with them.  Does this allow them
to fly through wildspace?  I cannot find anything about that in the rules.

2) One of the characters is a gold dragon, and has a fire breath weapon.
 I know that fireballs work in wildspace, since they are basically an
implosion of fire, but what about a fire breath weapon?  Does the air
envelope of the dragon carry the breath weapon to it's target, even if it is
not in direct contact with the victim's air envelope?  Or would it simply be
a superheated blast that could travel through wildspace?  Or would it
fizz out?

3) There are three dragons in the group, but most are small and not very
large (as dragons go - one is an adult brass, another an young adult
amethyst, and a juvenile gold).  What ships would you recommend that
would not have a problem holding their mass?  They may be forced to
customize one, but I wanted to see what is available now.
