	With my version of the Illithid, those have been replaced the class of
psionic.  Those who had the standard MC description were "less civilized"
brethern (lower classes).  The "middle class" were those Illithid as presented
in the Psi Handbook.  The "nobles/traitors" (depending on wether they're a PC
or not) are actually classed - and thus can be more varied/powerful than the
standards.
	However, if you want to keep those powers, then don't give them
anything else.  Just play a monster from the books.  Boring, really.
