I'm reposting this here withthe author's permission. Personally,
I think it's a cheesy workaround of a fundamental SJ hazard, but
someone here may find it useful.

Spacers Fireball (Magic user) Invocation/Evocation
Author: ektomorf@?????.?????????.edu
Level: 5

This creates a fireball which exists partially on another plane of
existance (the elemental of fire). This allows it to travel through
space (no air), water, or the Phlo, without disasterous results.
The fireball will explode on impact, or when the caster wills it to
(or at the end of its range). The damage is as per a
fireball, as is all statistics other than level.
