Flying mounts

Well, my idea was not to use them to replace actual spelljamming
spacecraft. Of course they couldn't possibly survive for prolonged
voyages... but during a single battle? Or to recon/patrol near the
mothership? For flights less than an hour or so, they'd be ideal, with a
respectable SR to boot.
