     [Ideas for a "new" Realms]

I really don't have a problem with this, although it is a good point
that if you change the Realms and someone else's game can access it, it may
cause problems.
Other possibilities in addition to "alternate timeline" and "back in
time" suggestions:

Why not have this broken Realms exist, accessible to spelljamming, but
in another sphere? This idea has been used in movies, books, and comic
books - a "counter-Earth" that is mostly like our own world, but with some
small changes (such as everyone is left-handed, which would make it a very
cool place to live, IIDSSM). Have some extradimensional
being/tripartite/forgotten got buid this counter-Realms and put it in
another sphere, either intact (and later became broken after its
duplication) or broken (due to interference, desire for change, or simple
orneriness).
Didn't someone mention that Larry Niven's Ringworld had a section that
had exact duplicates of all of Sol's planets built into it? And in Marvel
comics, the High Evolutionary built a duplicate Earth, peopled it with
evolved intelligent animals ... and placed it exactly on the opposite side
of the sun, where people would normally not see it.
