Yes, but, I *like* a lot of reality in my fantasy.

You're right. That would look nice.

In my game, the real universe is also the basis for the spelljammer
universe. The Phlogiston is hyperspace, and the crystal spheres are
energy fields, not physical constructs. So, 3D maps are good for my game,
especially since the Navigator's Guild (a very powerful group) uses the
higher mathematics to figure courses for planets that orbit within the
Galaxy, but do *not* drift in the Flow.

Not in my game. The solar systems don't float.
