Ditto. Perhaps the flows could be affected by outside forces. Perhaps a
rogue crystal sphere that is not tightly tied to the other crystal
spheres - kind of like a comet - access to the sphere is only when it is
in the neighborhood flow. Adventurers who stay too long in the sphere,
could be in for a surprise upon trying to exit. They could be a loooong
way from home, and without updated maps from the rogue sphere they could
have an interesting journey trying to find home.
