Point taken.  Maybe we should define a spacial unit for the
flow, since we only have distances between spheres measured
in travel times.  How about:

1 parsec = the distance travelled in 1 week on an average-speed
flow current

Thus, amend my statement to: red = 3 parsecs into the paper,
purple = 3 parsecs out of the paper....
