RAVENLOFT LIST - BACK FROM THE MISTS

Background
==========

Well, after having had many people try and subscribe to the old
Ravenloft list at Drycas, and fail, I contacted the lists above to find out
if the Ravenloft list was dead. One of the old moderators reckons it is, and
I can get no response from the other accounts at all; they may have expired.

So I have brought back the list here, along with the others and opened it
for subscriptions.

The info file for the Ravenloft list is enclosed below.

Hi there and welcome to the Ravenloft list's information file! This list is
intended as a forum for discussion on the Ravenloft setting for AD&D. It
should be a forum for debate on everything to do with TSR's Ravnloft setting
from the old 'Ravenloft' module to the new releases.

This is one of a 'family' of AD&D lists, reproduced below:

To subscribe to the realms list, use 'majordomo@????.com' as the
subscription address. For all the others use 'listserv@site', where site is
everything after the '@' symbol in the list name above.

SUBSCRIBING
===========

Send an email message with no subject to the relevant address
(listserv/majordomo/etc.) with the first and only line of the message as the
command:

SUBSCRIBE list-name Bill Smith

replacing 'list-name' with the list's name, and Bill Smith with your own
name or a name you wish to use.

For all sorts of gaming information including the amazing Dark-Sun Net
Handbook ftp into 'agena.csc.stu.mmu.ac.uk' or try '149.170.4.128' and check
out the directories there.

Archives
========

The Ravenloft list messages are archived. Anyone can access them with the
appropriate commands.

Firstly obtain an index by mailing listserver@??.??.uk with the
following command :

      index Ravenloft

To obtain a back issue mail listserver@??.??.uk with the following
command:

      get listserver/lists/Ravenloft mm-yy

Where mm-yy is the month and year you wish to retrieve.

You can retrieve a list of all possible files available by sending an:

      INDEX -ALL

command to the listserver.
