Greetings Fellow Jammers! As long as we're paying homage to ERB, one of his last (and apparently unfinished) John Carter novels had our hero travel to Jupiter. It turned out that after passing through a rather thick (maybe poisonous) upper atmosphere, that there was a solid world beneath the clouds, illuminated by a ring of volcanoes around the equator. This would make Jupiter an earth world that appears to be an air world. However, since there are already good suggestions regarding uses for Jupiter in Terraspace, this geography could easily be reassigned to any of the other gas giants. The Phantom phantom@????.????.???.edu In space, no one can hear you yodel!
