(sorry, don't have one for the Flow yet) I put these guys together for a Spelljamming campaign a few years ago, but never got much use out of them. Hope they can be of some use to you who actually are running SJ these days :-) Chance is 1 in 20 per space on the planetary locator chart, 2 in 20 if in the track of a planet, 3 in 20 if near a planet. If two monsters are listed, there is an equal chance of either, unless otherwise marked. In addition to all other encounters, there is a 1% chance/2 levels of the helmsman (checked once per month) that a dweomerborn is created from the ship's exhaust. Table I: Wildspace (d6, 1-2=I.1, 3-4=I.2, 5-6=I.3) (encounters: 1 in 20 per space) Table I.1 Table I.2 2d10: Encounter: 2d10: Encounter 2 Rogue Moon 2 Stellar Dragon 3 Great Dreamer 3 Misi 4 Space Mimic 4 Plasmoid, Ontalak 5 Platinum Silatic 5 Symbiont 6 Blazozoid 6 Puffer 7 Gold Silatic/Iron Silatic 7 Night Scavver 8 Meteorspawn 8 Zard 9 Stellar Undead/Wizshade 9 Sluk 10 Ship 10 Ship 11 Ship 11 Ship 12 Ship 12 Ship 13 Constellate 13 Grey Scavver 14 Gossamer (25% noble) 14 Kindori (10% chance of riders) 15 Star Selkie/Mercurial Slime 15 Brown Scavver 16 Jammer Leech 16 Phlog-crawler 17 Dweomerborn 17 Bloodsac 18 Nay-churr 18 Albari 19 Firelich 19 Gammaroid/Fractine 20 Zodar 20 Dreamslayer Table I.3 2d10: Encounter: 2 Focoid 3 Buzzjewel 4 Radiant Dragon 5 Starfly Plant 6 Void Scavver 7 Q'nidar 8 Monitor 9 Krajen Spores 10 Ship 11 Ship 12 Ship 13 Feesu 14 Lhee 15 Firebird 16 Mortiss 17 Elmarin 18 Infinity Vine 19 Spiritjam 20 Gonn Notes: Ship designates an encounter with some type of ship, as selected from Table II. Statistics on the monsters should be worked up in a list accompanying the tables. This table (and other "generic") tables are ideal for use in areas of wildspace that don't have their own, unique tables. Table II: Ships (d6, 1-2=II.1, 3-4=II.2, 5-6=II.3) Table II.1 Table II.2 2d10: Encounter: 2d10: Encounter 2 Reiger/Esthetic 2 Scro 3 Furnace Golem 3 Wiggle 4 Pyramid Ship (w/Pharaoh) 4 Dragonship, loyal to Shou Lung 5 Pirate of Gith (Squid) 5 Spacesea Giant 6 Elven Armada, escorted 6 Skeletonship 7 Xixchil 7 Neogi slaver 8 Hadozee 8 Galleon, Ertan merchant 9 Aperusa (gypsy) 9 Wreck 10 Dohwar (merchant) 10 Dragonfly, adventurers 11 Elven Man-O-War, escorted 11 Galleon, adventurers 12 Hammership, adventurers 12 Squidship, adventurers 13 Tradesman, Realms merchant 13 Tradesman, adventurers 14 Squidship, pirate 14 Damselfly, Lizard Men 15 Tradesman, Oerth merchant 15 Giff 16 Hammership, pirate 16 Aartuk 17 Sidewheeler 17 Dragonship, rogue 18 Illithid Nautiloid (d3) 18 Neogi Deathspider, with escort 19 Allura (in wreck) 19 Allura (running ship, dice again) 20 Colonial Grell 20 Thri-Kreen Table I.3 2d10: Encounter: 2 Ogre Mammoth (1) (lost) 3 Orc Scorpion (d4) (lost) 4 Eye Tyrant (1) 5 Elven Flotilla (d3 Armada, 3d4 Man-o-war, etc.), hunting goblinkin 6 Dwarven Citadel 7 Tradesman, convoy, pirate 8 Dwarven explorer (25% goldlust stricken, ordinary ship) 9 Elven flitter, messenger 10 Tradesman convoy, Hammership escort (Realmspace) 11 Tradesman, merchant (Greatspace) 12 Neogi Mindspider, slaver 13 Wreck 14 Dracon 15 Tradesman, convoy, merchant (random origin) 16 Abandoned Citadel, infested 17 Rockship (xorn) 18 Neogi Mindspider, with Great Old Master (1) 19 Kobold Angelship (2d3) (lost) 20 Goblin Porcupine (d4) (lost) Notes: If this table is to be used to its fullest, at least one ship of each type ought to be written up, though some (pyramid ship) can be taken from spelljammer supplements (i.e. SJR1). Wrecks are ships that are unoccupied, for whatever reason, and those marked with a racial name (i.e. Dracon, Hadozee, etc.) can be redefined to any others, if necessary, or if not yet created. Table III: Asteroids (d6, 1-3=III.1, 4-6=III.2) (encounters: 2 in 10 per space, + d10+5 asteroids) Table III.1 Table III.2 2d10: Encounter: 2d10: Encounter 2 Gammaroid 2 Radiant Dragon (in lair) 3 Gravislayer 3 Plasmoid, Ontalak 4 Military Outpost (Elven) 4 Murderoid 5 Citadel under construction 5 Asteroid 6 Asteroid Spider 6 Ship 7 Ship 7 Astereater/Puffer 8 Stargazer 8 Colonized Planetoid 9 Rock Hopper 9 Vacant Planetoid 10 Ship 10 Ship 11 Airless Asteroid 11 Asteroid 12 Ship 12 Ship 13 Zurchin 13 Vacant Asteroid 14 Monitor 14 Monitor 15 City 15 Colossus/Contemplator 16 Wizshade 16 Astrosphinx 17 Jammer Leech 17 Planetoid 18 Colonized Planetoid 18 Asteroid, mining colony 19 Meteorspawn 19 Spiritjam 20 Fal (lair) 20 Radiant Dragon (wandering) Notes: Ship designates an encounter with some type of ship, as selected from Table II. City refers to an inhabited asteroid, like the Rock of Bral. Asteroid and similar entries refer to large chunks of rock drifting through space. In addition to the slots on the table, travel through a typical asteroid belt or field (i.e. The Grinder in Greyspace) will result in d10+5 encounters with various pieces of rock per space travelled.
